Shoe designs…where are these going?

I do like shoe designs and prototypes. The diversity in some of them are great. Some look more practical than other although there probably not!

This first image kinda reminds me of a sinclair C5 for some reason i guess it’s the color although i think that concorde like nose has something to do with it.
Wonder what the ‘spoiler fin’ above the heel is for? balance?purely cosmetic?

 Meccano
These are absolutely mental!! Reminds me of something the kids would construct out of Meccano! Surely these have never been worn except for a photo shoot for something promoting HR Geiger. Does anyone else have any links to metal shoes?

I can’t decide if these wooden numbers favour on my list. They look painful but the clog has been timeless. They look as if they would be hard to keep on although perhaps that sheened arch slope forces the toes that far into the point that you would require pliers to get them off.

“Back to the Future Part 2 Nike Dunk SB Highs”

back-to-the-future

Thus far, science has done an admirable job in its quest to make Back to the Future Part II’s bold vision of the year 2015 a reality. Exciting progress has already been made toward the development of both hoverboards and flying cars. One thing we haven’t heard much about, though, are those awesome light-up, self-lacing Nikes worn by Marty McFly.

There’s truth behind the fact that these weren’t well publicised to make it into the public domain but they did make there way via custom Back to the Future Part 2 Nike Dunk SB Highs made for a customer order by S0le Jester.  It takes inspiration from Marty’s lenticular hat, the DeLorean, and the Mattell hoverboard.
